Chives

These are the Chives growing in my front flower bed.  I like to snip some chives into my salads and I also use them as a garnish.  I did a little research on them and learned the following:

** The flowers are also edible - I will have to get back to you on that one

** The smell of chives may deter aphids on rose bushes
